Elementary
The elementary school at Hillcrest Christian School was established in 1976 by dedicated members of Hillcrest Christian Church. It is now part of the education program that continues through grade twelve. Hillcrest Christian School is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International, and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. The learning disability program is accredited by the National Institute for Learning Development. The Search and Teach portion of this program is designed for early elementary students to prevent learning failure through early identification and educational intervention.
It is our desire to bring glory to God academically and spiritually. Education is presented from a Biblical point of view. The students are nurtured spiritually through Bible classes and weekly chapels. Physical development is addressed in P.E. classes and after school sports activities. Students have the opportunity to perform in grade level musical performances during the school hours and continue participation in the after school Music Academy which also includes worship and hip-hop dancing.
Students in the fourth and fifth grades have the opportunity to travel with their classmates on overnight educational field trips. The students participate in various ACSI events - Piano Festival, Speech Meet, Spelling Bee, and Math Olympics.
It is our desire to partner with parents in the education of their children. We invite you to become a part of the Hillcrest family.
