Hillcrest Academics

Before the award winning sports programs and music department Hillcrest Christian School built its foundation in the area of exceptional academia. The tradition of providing a challenging curriculum and gifted teaching staff has established Hillcrest as a powerhouse for learning.

Hillcrest is accredited through the Association of Christian School’s International (ACSI) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).  In 2007 Hillcrest was accredited for six years, the highest extension possible.

Early in its inception, Hillcrest Christian School delivered stimulating material through dynamic teachers to students in Kindergarten through the 8th grade. In 2000 Hillcrest expanded its talents to include High school curricula, meeting the need for a strong academic private high school in the north San Fernando Valley.

This year Hillcrest celebrates its 8th year of graduates. One of the seniors, Michael Clark, has set a new standard of academic excellence by scoring a perfect 800 on the SAT, math portion. In addition Michael has been named a Commended Student in the 2008 National Merit Scholarship Program. Michael is also a member of the senior council and the Varsity baseball team.
As the class of 2008 marches across the stage becoming alumni, they join past Hillcrest Christian School graduates in the pursuit of higher education at the following universities and colleges:
