Students attend weekly chapels. Educational
field trips are planned at teacher discretion.
Standardized Testing Program: The Stanford Achievement
Test is given each spring to test academic achievement
for grades K-11. The Otis Lennon School Ability
Test is administered to some grades. Parents
receive the results during the summer. High School
students are encouraged to take the PLAN, PSAT/NMSQT,
ACT, SAT I, and SAT II tests.
TEXTBOOKS
Textbooks may be purchased at our online bookstore partner, ESCO, www.hillcrestchristianbooks.com, or by using the toll free number: 1-800-228-6292. Beginning on or around June 1st, you will be able to purchase all required summer reading novels (for grades 6-12), classroom required novels (for grades 6-12) and Advanced Placement (A.P.) titles. Then during the first week of July, textbooks will be available for all grades for the 2010-2011 school year. You will be sent information about the necessary texts and their purchases in late June or you may find the required textbooks on our website.
