Middle School Supplementary Reading Lists
Teachers
at Hillcrest Christian School are often asked
to recommend supplemental reading for your children. These
lists may be able to help you with the selection
of additional reading material for your child,
serving as a guide in giving the student exposure
to classical and modern literature. Look
through the list to see what titles may be of
interest to you. Please be responsible
to screen this list, selecting what you feel
is the most appropriate reading for your individual
child. These suggestions are not intended
to be an exhaustive list from which to choose. They
are compiled to be grade-appropriate and will
help prepare the student for higher education
or to be a well-read adult
